Supported by CentraCare Health Foundation, Lupus Link Minnesota will develop “Living with Lupus” programming to educate and support individuals affected by lupus and related autoimmune diseases, and promote awareness and understanding of lupus and its impact on the broader community.
The program series will be conducted in and around the CentraCare service area, expanding out from St. Cloud, in later 2018. It will address the breadth of challenges related to diagnosis, treatment, and management of the disease. It’s intended to help central Minnesota residents – those with the disease, individuals in their network, and others in the community – to recognize and mitigate the disease’s effects.
Lupus Link Minnesota anticipants that this educational initiative can be a program model that can be replicated in other areas of Greater Minnesota and in the Twin Cities area.
