Our Student Research Fellowship Program aims to inspire the next generation of researchers dedicated to the lupus cause. This year, five undergraduate students were awarded summer fellowships, totaling approximately $22,500 in research funding.
As the summer draws to a close, so does their experience. The fellows will conclude by sharing their amazing work and findings at a public presentation open to family, friends, members of the medical community, and the general public. As friends of Lupus Link Minnesota, we invite you to join us for one or both -- Rochester on August 9 and Minneapolis on August 21.
Fellows work alongside established researchers at local institutions, executing experiments, performing literature searches, and conducting corresponding research in tandem with the principal investigator.
